Description & Specs

The Essential Phone – brought into existence by Android veteran Andy Rubin – blends cutting-edge hardware, meticulous engineering, and bloat-free software into a high-end Android device that aims to be a step ahead of anything that we’ve seen so far. At the front, a screen occupies nearly all of the space that’s available, while titanium and ceramic are fused together to create the durable body of the handset. The main camera at the back is backed by a secondary one with increased sensitivity that shoots monochrome, providing additional visual data that is added to the final image. And speaking of cameras, you can grab an additional 360-degree camera accessory that conveniently snaps to the phone via magnets. One downside: no US carrier will offer the Essential Phone, but you can buy one unlocked and use it with a provider of your choice.
